Writing — Editing — Coaching
Hi, I’m Mariana Abeid-McDougall.
I help clients to build relationships with their audience—by creating conversations that sell.
My writing specialties are blog posts, e-mail copywriting (including newsletters and flash promos), and eBooks. I also proofread and edit existing content, to ensure that your writing is not only free of errors, but that it is also sending the right message to your clients.
I’m a multi-niche writer and pride myself in being able to adapt voice and style to match my clients’ needs. Whether it’s writing about mental health, nutrition, homeschooling, parenting, or the changing work landscape, I’m happiest when I’m helping my clients achieve their business goals.
A little more about me…
Need a hard-working, reliable writer?
I have been in the workforce since I was 16, often working near full-time hours while also attending full-time school. I put myself through university and spent 7 years as a reservist in the Royal Canadian Navy. I have provided administrative services to university offices, military offices, as well as an engineering office. I have owned a personal training company, and the list goes on.
My life and work experiences have taught me organization and prioritization skills that you won’t find matched elsewhere. And my varied life experiences allow me to be comfortable writing about varied topics as well.
In 2018-2019, I travelled* all over the US & Canada with my three homeschooled children and my husband in an RV. We are an out-of-the-box, active family, who like to march to the beat of our own drum, and aren’t afraid of a little adventure (as a matter of fact, we thrive on it).
Becoming a freelance writer has allowed me to combine a few of my favourite things: writing, travelling (in non-COVID times, of course), and being with my family as often as possible. I owe my lifestyle to the wonderful clients with whom I work, and I would be thrilled to add you to that list.
I look forward to working with you. Please see my services page for information on how I can help your business. Please feel free to contact me at any time at email@example.com
*As a Canadian, I use Canadian spelling on my blog. When writing for American clients, I switch to American spelling. Hence, I use “travelling” here, but use “traveling” for American clients’ blogs and websites.
